We recently shared our Top 10 Films of the First Half of 2018 but today we share our films we can’t wait to see before the end of the year
Some made our Top 10 films we couldn’t wait to see at the beginning of the year but what have we now added to that list? Read On:
10: Venom (release date: 5th October)
We loved the idea of Tom Hardy playing this Marvel character but we aren’t sure how good the film will be after the initial trailers, but for us, it’s still a must see!
9: Hotel Artemis (Release Date 20th July)
The cast was amazing but our initial excitement has been downgraded by some lukewarm reviews
8: Peppermint (Release Date 21st September)
From the director of Taken, Jennifer Garner returns to the action-role that she excelled at in hit TV Series Alias
7: Bohemian Rhapsody (Release Date 24th October)
The Freddie Mercury biopic should be an amazing watch and at the worse, you can sit back and enjoy his and the music of Queen which will no doubt fill the soundtrack
6: Halloween (Release Date 19th October)
This reboot promises to be a true sequel to the original film and ignore the previous sequels. The trailer looks spooky enough to have us hoping it can be as effective as the original John Carpenter classic
5: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwauld (16th November)
This sequel set before the Harry Potter timeline should be worth a watch, we just wish the trailer featured our favourite Fantastic Beast, Niffler =)
4: Mission Impossible: Fallout (Release Date 25th July)
We are big fans of this Tom Cruise franchise and the 6th entry looks like it could be the best yet
3: The Predator (Release Date 12th September)
Shane Black who starred in the original returns to the franchise as the writer/director, we loved his Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang and The Nice Guys so hoping this R-rated action movie will be as good rather than his disappointing last big-budget film Iron Man 3
2: First Man (Release Date 12th October)
From the Writer/Director of both Whiplash and La La Land, this Neil Armstrong biopic starring Ryan Gosling & Claire Foy should be a must see
And at Number One:
The Meg (Release Date August 10th)
As a fan of Shark films, in general, and the book its based on and its subsequent sequels, our 20-year wait to see it adapted to the big screen is nearly at an end, this was our Number 1 must see at the beginning of the year and it’s not changed
NB: All Release Dates subject to change
