As we start a new decade, we have plenty of new fillms to look forward to, these are the 10 that we can not wait to see, but we are sure many others will gain our attention as the year goes on.
10. No Time To Die
A James Bond film is always a great cinema event, with the director of Season One of True Detective helming and Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge working on the script, we are hoping for a 007 Classic
9. The Invisible Man
This looks like an interesting update on the H.G. Wells classic novel, written and directed by Leigh Whannell (whose ctredits include Saw; Dead Silence; Insidious but also Upgrade which means we can probably expect some great action amongst the scares)
8. Last Night in Soho
We don’t know too much about this one other than it is from Edgar Wright and that is good enough for us
7. A Quiet Place: Part II
The first film was a great cinema event but we didn’t think it would need a sequel, but the first trailer has given us high hopes
6. The Woman in the Window
We loved the book by A.J Finn that this was based on, The cast is incredible but sadly the film had had major changes after audiences were left confused by it, after being due for release last year, so we are trying to dial down our excitement that this will be a great adaptation.
5. Artemis Fowl
We are huge fans of the book series by Eoin Colfer, which we first read nearly 20 years ago, we hope this is worth the wait, a great cast makes it promising and if done right, Harry Potter may finally have comeption with this story of a young Criminal Mastermind who discovers fairies and other creatures are real
4. Top Gun: Maverick
Top Gun is an absolute classic, Tom Cruise always delivers for us, but can they capture the magic again, we can’t wait to enter this possible ‘Danger Zone’ to find out
3. Kong Vs Godzilla
The title tells you all you need to know, this could be fantastic and the previous outings for the 2 title creatures have been great, so we can’t wait and for the record, we are #TeamGodzilla
2. Ghostbusters: Afterlife
Let’s be clear, we liked the femaie reboot a lot, but this new film’s inital trailer has not given anything too much away other than give lots of nods to the previous movies, this could be a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to find out.
And our number one has to be Bill and Ted Face the Music
We loved the first 2 films and we can not wait to rock out with the epic Wyld Stallyns of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter again, especially with Ed Solomon back on writing duties and coming from the director of the great Galaxy Quest
What are you looking forward to seeing, we have plenty of others we want to see from Tenet to horror film Antlers that we could include, but these 10 are guaranteed to be getting our money
