What's This?
Our 2019 Must See List
                    Our 2019 Must-See List

It is quite sad but also a sign of cinema at present, that our 10 most anticipated films are reboots; remakes or reimagining and sequels

We are sure more original films will grab out attention and films that we want to see but can wait will greatly surprise us.

So these are our 10 where we will be trying to grab a cinema seat as soon as possible

10: Toy Story 4 (out 21 June 2019)

We are huge fans of the original trilogy which we felt had a great ending so we have reservations about a 4th film but we had reservations about a 2nd and a 3rd film so hope we are thrilled again

9: Pokemon Detective Pikachu (Out 10 May 2019)

We have been sold by the cute trailer and this should be a lot of fun especially with wisecracking Ryan Reynolds voicing Pikachu

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1roy4o4tqQM

8: Pet Sematary (5th April 2019)

We were not that bothered when this was announced, the original film we felt did a good job of bringing the book to screen but we were sold upon seeing the creepy trailer

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VllcgXSIJkE

7: Artemis Fowl (9th August 2019)

We are huge fans of the book series by Eoin Colfer and have waited years for this to make the big screen but some bizarre changes to the characters has us having reservations but director Kenneth Branagh has brought us some great films.

We expect our excitement may rise when we see footage of Foaly and Mulch our favourite characters from the books

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXlBep9uFjI

6: Star Wars Episode IX (20th December 2019)

We love Star Wars, we loved the Last Jedi and Solo but with the films now coming yearly we do not get as excited as before, we know of course that will change when we get a trailer for sure

5: The Lion King (19th July 2019)

A live action remake of the Disney classic is another film that we felt didn’t need a remake but the great casting and fact that we enjoyed the director Jon Favreau’s live-action remake of The Jungle Book so we have high hopes

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CbLXeGSDxg

4: John Wick Chapter 3 (17 May 2019)

John is our spirit animal, we loved how he treats anyone who would hurt his dog and how he deals with them and we loved the sequel and despite no trailer released yet, early shots feature John on a horse have our excitement levels on a high!

3: It: Chapter Two (6th September 2019)

We loved the first film so have high hopes for the second chapter which follows the Losers club now aged and ready to face Pennywise again

2: Godzilla: King of the Monsters (31st May 2019)

We love Godzilla and we love director Michael Dougherty Trick R treat and Krampus

The first trailer has made us forget the last American Godzilla film and we can not wait to see this

1: Dumbo

Yet another Disney film getting the live action treatment but this time it is coming from our favourite director Tim Burton, it looks like it will have us laughing and crying all the way from the opening credits

We can not wait for this one especially as it has been years since we have seen the 1941 original movie.

There really is something for everyone this year with plenty more comic book heroes coming to the screen and reboots for Men in Black and The Terminator plus we will get to see Stallone become Rambo one last time but what are your must-sees for 2019?
