THE BMAF REVIEW

Bad Boys 3 review
The BMAF Good Girls review Bad Boys For Life

We loved the first Bad Boys film and when heard about this we decided to revisit the sequel and we really were left disappointed, we felt it was overlong and it seemed to lose the magic. With a 3rd film and for the first time not under the direction of Michael Bay we decided to give this franchise another go.

Smith and Lawrence slip back into their characters effortlessly, the action is great, some great comedy moments too and a decent story made this overall an enjoyable watch.

It’s not without faults, the bad guy ending was a bit of a let down for us given what he had done throughout the film, we also felt, like most modern day blockbusters, it suffered from having a near 2 hour run time.

It’s a fun ride and its definitely better than the sequel but despite its success we are not sure it could stretch to another good fourth film.

THE BMAF RATING

A fine return to form for the franchise, with plenty of action and laughs but it does feel stretched to fit its near 2 hour run time!
